How much is that Chow Chow in the Windows????

Added that Technorati widget that calculates your blogs value yesterday.
I don't know how it calculates the value but based on 11 readers this would calculate John Chows value of 12,000 readers to be $616,000.
Now based on Chow's published monthly income of around $20,000 and using my ratio it would mean $20,000*12*10 which = $2.4 Million!!
Incredible!!!

Write For Dollars!!

I recently joined Helium ....a writers website that pays for your articles..250 words or more.
It does this 2 ways
1. you write a freelance article then you participate in a share of the revenue advertising.
This depends on your rating and how many articles you write.
2. In the marketplace there are jobs offered that pay around $80 to $100 per article.

So check it out if your an aspiring Ernest Hemingway!!!!

Law of Attraction

I heard of this site the other night while listening to "Coast to Coast".
One of the things he said was that what we think about is what we get in our life.
For example he says do not use the words never ,not and don't.
Instead of saying what you don't want rephrase it to saying what you DO want.

How much is a website or blog worth???

Here is a site devoted to listing websites for sale!!!

http://www.buysellwebsite.com/exchange/websites-for-sale.asp

From my experience a blog making $1000 per month would I think be worth around $100,000.

Also I would want proof from Google Analytics reports.

For your info a Google rating of 10 is the best with 0 the worst.

How many posts should you do every day??

I have heard that 3 or 4 is good because the computer bots that update their database will be more active.

My Values

Socrates, an ancient Greek philosopher wrote:"virtue was the most valuable of all possessions;

the ideal life was spent in search of the Good."

Confucius, an ancient Chinese philosopher wrote:
“Those who are without virtue cannot abide long either in a condition of poverty and hardship, or in a condition of enjoyment, the virtuous rest in virtue; the wise desire virtue.”“If the will be set on virtue, there will be no practice of wickedness.”“The superior man is satisfied and composed; the mean man is always full of distress.”“Virtue is not left to stand alone. He who practises it will have neighbours.”

Love is treating people and things with care and kindness because they mean so much to you. Love is contagious. It keeps spreading. Socrates an ancient Greek philosopher spent most of his life studying and perfecting what he called "the art of love". Trust Trust is having faith in someone or something. It is a positive attitude about life. You are confident that the right thing will happen without trying to control it or make it happen. Even when difficult things happen, trust helps us to find the gift or lesson in it.

Humanity only lives on this earth and as the superior being we are responsible for all that surrounds us which includes being stewards of the environment and aiming protect the earth’s environment through recycling, conservation, regeneration, and restoration.

Courtesy
Courtesy is being polite and having good manners. When you speak and act courteously, you give others a feeling of being valued and respected. Greet people pleasantly. Bring courtesy home. Your family needs it most of all. Courtesy helps life to go smoothly.

Loyalty
Loyalty is staying true to someone. It is standing up for something you believe in without wavering. It is being faithful to your family, country, school, friends or ideals, when the going gets tough as well as when things are good. With loyalty, you build relationships that last forever.

Respect
We show respect by speaking and acting with courtesy. We treat others with dignity and honour the rules of our family, school and nation. Respect yourself, and others will respect you.

Courage is bravery in the face of fear. You do the right thing even when it is hard or scary. When you are courageous, you don’t give up. You try new things. You admit mistakes. Courage is the strength in your heart.

Self-discipline
Self-discipline means self-control. It is doing what you really want to do, rather than being tossed around by your feelings like a leaf in the wind. You act instead of react. You get things done in an orderly and efficient way. With self-discipline, you take charge of yourself.

Detachment

Forgiving is giving someone another chance after they have done something wrong. Everyone makes mistakes. Instead of revenge, make amends. Forgive yourself too. Instead of feeling hopeless after a mistake, decide to act differently, and have faith that you can change.

Unity
Unity helps us work and live together peacefully. We feel connected with each other and all living things. We value the individualism of each person as a gift, not as a reason to fight or be scared. With unity we accomplish more together than any of one of us could alone. Speech of Alexander the Great at Opis, on the Tigris River "I wish all of you, now that the wars are coming to an end, to live happily, in peace. All mortals from now on will live like one people, united, and peacefully working towards a common prosperity. You should regard the whole world as your own country with common laws, a country where the best and the brightest rule, regardless of race. I do not separate people, as do the narrow-minded, into Greeks and barbarians. I am not interested in the origin or race of citizens. I only distinguish them on the basis of their virtue. For me each good foreigner is a Greek and each bad Greek is worse than a barbarian. If ever differences arose, never resort to arms, but resolve them peacefully. If need be, I will serve as your arbitrator. Do not consider God as a dictatorial Ruler, but as Father of all, so that your conduct would resemble the cohabitation of siblings within one family. On my part, I consider all of you equal, white or dark, and I would like you not to be only plain subjects of my Commonwealth, but all shareholders, all partners. To the extent it is in my power, I shall try to accomplish all that I promise. Keep the oath we are taking with the libation tonight like a Contract of Love"

Justice
Practicing justice is being fair. It is solving problems so everyone wins. You don’t prejudge. You see people as individuals. You don’t accept it when someone acts like a bully, cheats or lies. Being a champion for justice takes courage. Sometimes when you stand for justice, you stand alone.
