From my experience these are a total waste of time in terms of adding readers. People only want to add readers to their blog not join yours.

we have an adult toys website, and it's for sale. We have > 15000 unique visitors monthly. We do not currently have Google Analitics, but we can install it. We have raw Server Logs if those can help.
