Quantitative analysis
Quantitative analysis in finance is an approach that uses mathematical and statistical analysis to help determine the value of a financial asset, such as a stock or option[1]. It looks at patterns and algorithms to make predictions about the stock market[2], and can be used to develop quantitative trading strategies in R[3]. Quantitative ratio analysis is also used to measure stocks through fundamental ratios such as valuations, margins, and earnings[4].
